Our experience, examples

We have been involved in research (like design of new processes, mathematical modeling and simulation, design of control systems etc.) for more than 30 years. In our labs and workshops various services for industry were completed (like testing, design, prototyping, for example).

Examples:

  • Technology and installations for various processes in food industry;
  • Drying of crops/cereals, where we have used neural networks for the fast processing the signals from a set of simple sensors to estimate the real value of the humidity of grains;
  • Mixing of food products, where we have analysed a continues bulk to optimal control by one control loop with one actuator;
  • Neutralisation of basic (alkali) sewage, with a great delay time in a control loop;
  • Energy saving of an air conditioning in green houses;
  • Step motors, fuzzy controllers, PLCs, digital signal processors (DSPs), industrial computer networks and other modern software, equipment and instrumentation;
  • Computer Aided Design software for electro-pneumatic drive systems.

In the Control Engineering field, we are especially experienced in the following subjects:

  • non-linear control and AI algorithms in control; the digital control systems;
  • modelling and computer simulation of biochemical and physical processes;
  • various types of servomechanisms and driving systems (pneumatic cylinders, step motors, electric motors) in control systems;
  • control of air conditioning in long-term stores for food products
  • CAD software systems;

We may participate in the following issues:

  • extended Computer Aided Design software for pneumatic and electro-pneumatic drive systems, built of many cylinders, control valves, PLC controllers etc., for machines, vehicles, assembly lines, manufacturing lines, and for any industrial/agricultural installations, small or large,
  • high speed pneumatic drives (up to 12 m/s) for special purposes, for example for punching of brittle or soft materials or for low-cost forging in small workshops,
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods as control algorithms: Neural Artificial Networks, Fuzzy Logic, Genetic Algorithms; Expert Systems; for industrial control installations, for servomechanisms etc.,
  • research, design & development (including prototyping) of electromechanical, electronic or pneumatic devices for control and/or measuring (mechatronic systems),
  • humidity measurements & control in biologic grained materials,
  • energy saving control in long term storage facilities, for example to optimise energy consumption, greenhouse air conditioning;
  • mathematical models of biochemical and physical processes in agricultural and garden products when they are kept in storage plants.
